What we are looking for:
We are looking for a junior Technical Analyst who will be working alongside experienced colleagues to learn everything about software license analysis. You support senior colleagues by carrying out parts of elaborate or complex activities and use the acquired learnings to grow your own knowledge and skills.
You explain the data collection process to the customer. You offer remote support for installing and configuring the collection tools, as well as for the actual data transfer to the Technical Analysis team. You analyze raw data received from the customer, in order to create an accurate overview of the customer’s software usage. You compare this usage with the license grant to provide a gap analysis report. You will deliver the reports within the time agreed with the customer and other stakeholders.
In order to execute your job to the required standards, you build and maintain up-to-date knowledge about hardware, network and product configurations as well as about licensing policies of software vendors.

You are passionate about IT and possess the following technical knowledge:
· Basic scripting knowledge (e.g. Shell, Batch, Python, Perl)
· An understanding of hardware and software architectures
· MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Basic OS Knowledge (Windows, Unix/Linux)
· Basic database skills (SQL, administration/installation), Programming and/or Excel (basic) knowledge
