Roles and Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in testing products and web applications ensuring adherence to quality assurance parameters and acceptance criteria
• Understand the Requirements / User Stories and acceptance criteria, and convert them into reliable, efficient, quality test cases / scripts covering positive and negative scenarios
• Testing the programs to ensure Acceptance criteria and NFRs are met – Regression, Performance, Security testing etc.
• Ability to help developers troubleshoot and debug existing software / defects / bugs
• Recommend and execute improvements, value adds and innovative solutions to customer
• Create test documentation, review deployment instructions, and help Manager with reporting project status
• Ability to work both independently and as team player
• Work with the SCRUM team throughout the journey and help them as needed
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Technical Skills required:

• Manual testing, Cypress.io for Automation testing and K6.io for Load testing are mandatory skills
• L3 support work – Testing enhancements and defect fixes
• Strong defect repro skills
• Good understanding of impact analysis
• Update test plans, test cases / scripts and test data
• Execute tests (both manual and automated), analyze test results and track quality and metrics
• Report defects / bugs with proper steps to reproduce the same
• Generate and present test reports
• Good understanding of automation, performance and security testing best practices and their applicability

Timings:

·        Graveyard shift - overlap until 5:00 PM ET required.

Qualification:

• ·        Graduate in Engineering - Computer Science/Information Systems (Preferred)
